How do the provably-fair dice work — and how do I verify a roll?
Orion’s dice are provably fair. Before a match begins, the server creates a secret dice seed and shows your device a SHA-256 hash of it (a commitment). Every dice roll in the match is derived cryptographically from that seed.
When the match ends, the server reveals the original seed. Your device automatically hashes the revealed seed and checks it against the commitment shown at the start. If they match — and they always should — it’s mathematical proof that no roll was changed to favour anyone. The rules themselves are handled by a separately-validated engine, so the outcome of every move is deterministic and auditable.
Is Orion free? Can I win or lose real money?
Yes, Orion is free to play. Coins and gems are virtual items with no real-world value— they cannot be cashed out or exchanged for money. Orion offers no real-money prizes and is not gambling. Table “stakes” are wagered in virtual coins only.
How do worlds, the season pass, quests and clubs work?
Worlds are a ladder of Mediterranean tables — from a warm Tangier café up to the celestial Orion table — that you climb as you play. Daily quests give small goals (win a match, roll a gammon) for rewards.
The season pass tracks seasonal progress with free and premium reward tracks, and the card album is a collectible set you complete for cosmetics. Clubslet you play alongside other members. Some social and live features roll out progressively — if something isn’t available yet, it’s on the way.
How do I reset my progress or delete my account?
Orion doesn’t use logins — you have an anonymous guest profile identified by a player ID you can find in Settings. To delete your guest profile, gameplay records and leaderboard entry, email privacy@arthea.ai with your player ID and we’ll take care of it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Which devices and orientation does Orion support?
Orion is an iPhone game for iOS 18 and later. It’s landscape-first — hold your phone sideways for the full board — and is tuned for buttery 120 Hz ProMotion displays.
Online play isn't connecting — what can I try?
Online matches need a working internet connection. If you hit trouble:
- Check Wi-Fi or cellular data is on and reachable.
- Toggle Airplane Mode off and on, or switch Wi-Fi ↔ cellular.
- Make sure Orion is updated to the latest version.
- Fully close and reopen the app.
